Overview:
All good fund raising plans have one thing in common: they show a diverse number of sources for their income. The board of directors plays a crucial role in the selection, implementation, and evaluation of fundraising strategies. In addition to other ways that board members may participate in fundraising, they individually commit to raising and giving a certain amount of money, or commit to working by themselves on specific strategies with no financial goal attached.
What you will learn:
Learn how to leverage the skill sets of your board and development team to increase fundraising – online and off-line. Beyond merely asking friends to give money, you’ll learn fun, effective ways to boost revenue. Learn how to make the pain of Give or Get an easy one to overcome.
Your website has two strategic objectives – first, to inform the website visitor about your organization and its mission. However, the second, more important objective is to get the website visitor to SUPPORT your nonprofit. Learn how to plan and build a site which not only has a lot for the user to see, but a lot for the user to do as well. Consider the impact of a site that offers online donations, event tickets, membership dues, e-store purchases, affiliate marketing, even in-kind donations, planned gifts, investment donations, and much more.
