Bob McKim
Robert McKim, MA, CISA, CIPP:
McKim Consulting for Nonprofits & Nonprofit Management Specialist.
A senior executive with more than 37 years of national and international marketing and technology leadership, Bob was one of the fathers of CRM and has received national recognition for driving results from data mining and related marketing programs. He has won 20 national and international awards for most effective direct marketing.
Bob is responsible for all day-to-day functions including business development, working with clients to assess their requirements, understanding their culture, working with their boards of directors and executive directors.
Bob has been board chair for Meals on Wheels West for four years, President’s Advisory Board for Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Board of Trustees for Antioch University Los Angeles campus, Counselor Executive Service organization (nonprofit consulting group), past Board of Governors for the Institute of Internal Auditors and Beverly Hills counselor for SCORE, Secretary for Camp Coca-Cola Los Angeles and Technology Committee Chair for the Wellness Community.
As Founder and CEO of M\S Database Marketing/SourceLink Los Angeles, he built one of the largest data management companies on the West Coast. The firm was the innovative leader in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and was known for developing customers Life Time Value.
Bob founded his Los Angeles based advertising agency Robert McKim Advertising growing it to over $10 million in capitalized billings.
Early in his career Bob was Advertising Manager and Director of New Products for Schick Electric, in Los Angeles and Brand Manager for Gillette Toiletries in Boston.
He is member of CAN, Association of Fundraising Professionals, past member of Institute of Internal Auditors, SCORE, ISACA and the Center for Nonprofit Management. He is an author, speaker and often called upon for technical advice for nonprofit management.
He is educated at Northeastern University and holds two undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Leadership. He has his Masters in Nonprofit Management with Walden University. He has been licensed as a Certified Information Security Auditor and Certified Information Privacy Professional.
